Letters to the Editor Encouraging Response to Overseas Expansion Program In July of this year Mission Frontiers began an expansion program aimed at placing MF in the hands of every mission and church leader in the world, particularly third world mission leaders. The following are quotes from letters we received in response to our first mailing of MF to an additional 1600 mission leaders. They reveal the impact MF is having. Philippines - "Thank you very much for sending us the latest issue of Mission Frontiers. It is informative and encouraging. I wish that my co-workers in the field will have a copy of it also." Brazil - "We were thrilled to receive your latest Mission Frontiers Bulletin. I have immediately started spreading the insights you have carefully shared, especially your REJOICE chart. Since we are just as concerned about reaching the unreached as you are, we have been sharing the REJOICE chart with all students at our Bible Institute and have plans to gradually make it known to key church and mission leaders in our region. Your 'Fresh News' column brought us much joy..." India - "Thank you very much for sending us a copy of Mission Frontiers. We would like this on a regular basis." P.N. Kurien, Indonesia - "We are delighted...and expect to draw much valuable insight, information, and strategy from this publication. Please insure that we do continue to receive Mission Frontiers, and we thank the Lord Jesus for your generosity." Ghana - "I was overwhelmed to receive Mission Frontiers magazine. ... It will really help me as our target has been to reach the unreached for our Lord Jesus Christ." India - "I would like you to know that I love to receive Mission Frontiers and enjoy making use of it. ...Please continue to send me your informative bulletin." Singapore - "I would like to subscribe to your missions magazine. I received your first copy and it has greatly helped me as pastor with a growing missions involvement. ...Your bulletin is such an informative magazine..." Kenya - "Thanks for your letter and your form [Mission Frontiers]. Indeed I was delighted to hear from you. I am willing to receive this magazine very often. Please continue sending it to me. I will be grateful." Canada - "Thank you for your complimentary copy of Mission Frontiers. It was a great read! It was relevant and challenging even to a 25- year veteran. I will pass it on to others in the office to read as well as quote from it as I speak. You need to be complimented on layout and packing a whole lot in a little magazine with minimum expense. Congratulations and keep up the good work. We are delighted to join arms with you in taking the gospel to the unreached people groups." Philippines - "This is to acknowledge receipt of your magazine sent to me. Thank you very much for being kind to give me one. I do pray that you kindly do it regularly in order for us to keep in touch with other Christian and ministries' needs." India - "Thank you very much for the May-June issue of Mission Frontiers. we appreciate and do realize that it is an important tool to update us on missions. Hence do keep us on your mailing list. Keep up the good work." Malawi- "Thank you very much for the kindness and love of sending us [pur] first copy of Mission Frontiers. ... This is the first time to read your magazine and we are most interested to receive it. Please don't take us off your mailing list." [ FRONT PAGE ] [ MEET OUR STAFF ] [ USCWM ] [ SEARCH ] |
